Southwest winds move birds along the LCRV

Regional Overview at ~0330 on 5-18-2012

ARIZONA

There was a slight southwest wind last night, possibly pushing a moderate amount of birds up the Arizona side of the lower Colorado River. The birds appeared to be moving in a north northeast direction from Yuma up through the valley. Migrant traps and restoration areas should be checked this morning. There was a light movement of birds across the rest of the state last night.
